So fun Laurie!!!!!! Thanks for the WONDERFUL treat!!!!
So great to have NEW BC’s joining us too. Hi Sian & Ginelle welcome to us.
Laurie your stand up bit brought me giggles. Love your fat camp ‘theory’ of how awesome fun it was as opposed to its intent lol. And the Jew for cookies. Was just super funny.
I greatly miss the show and day-to-day play-by-play in the life & times of Laurie so I REALLY enjoy & appreciate when you take the time to produce a show amidst your busy-ness.
I’m envious of you! I aspire to ‘move on’ from the diet/food/body obsession.
Happy holidays to you & your family & to all the BC’s.
Ho Ho Ho! It’s so great to hear from Holiday Dawny! xoxox That stand-up routine took SO long (6 weeks) to write and polish, I have such a new found respect for the comedians who go out for a year to polish up 5 minutes for a monolog. OMG! It was scary. I miss the show too, but am so glad I am filling that time with acting class and going for dreams instead of obsessing over food. Body shame still sneaks up on me now and again, so life is definitely not perfect – but I guess I’m finally starting to live with not perfect. Looking forward to our little holiday update show at the end of Dec. too. We probably will be pretty thin on BCs this year compared to last year, but thanks to you we have some fun jokes and I have some holiday tricks up my sleeve – I hope. Thanks for stopping by my friend, xoxoxoxoxo
