It’s early morning on the mountain and already HOT AS BLAZES. I let go of thinking about my body every 6 seconds and replace that with gratitude. This month’s iTunes 5-star review writers and some of their reviews. Smooches for each. Also thanks to Canadian and UK Amazon shoppers. We hear from Shea, Dave and Dawny with comments about day 115. Dawny goes on the bravery report for completing a half-marathon! Mark reads his favorite poem, If by Rudyard Kipling. Our resident BC Songwriter extraordinaire, Fionna Lane, shares one of her latest songs, Maybe, and the inspiration behind it. We catch up with Amy from WI and talk about posting statuses. Then we flip the format and welcome our newest BC Charm at the end of the show, because she teaches me something about gratitude. We send heartfelt well wishes to a person in Charm’s life.

Frustration is my target today. It’s windy, it’s crowded, and I have to park my good car in the rugged mountain hiking lot! We celebrate the Bravery of new BC, Shannon, who posts her story and asks for our thoughts on the ‘Want Advice?’ page. Dawny steps in to welcome Shannon as well as to give us a funny joke for Foolish Fun. We hear what’s up with Amy from WI, Sue from the UK, Jill from the UK and Stéfanie from Quebec. BC Dave sends his list for things he does that add value to his life and his request for your list. Stéfanie sends her latest Secret Topic of the Day. Why do we do things we know aren’t in our best interests? I sneak in some singing bravery of my own.

Here’s why my list of items to work on to make my life better includes researching a more permanent home sound booth setup. My current procedure of dragging out quilts and foam rubber and draping them over laundry racks every time I need to record inside is getting a bit old.

I asked Fionna to write this song as a way to celebrate our bravery. This version of it was used as part of our big celebration show on Day 100. The “Brave Companions” are the show’s listeners and those who participate by commenting here or who send in audio to be used in the show. Hooray! Out of the house and under the podcast tree. It’s great to be outside after being so sick this week.

After a terrible case of food poisoning or stomach flu, I let go of knowing what to expect from my body and assuming I know what it needs. I’ll be on call again for jury duty next week (postponed due to my illness) and may not be online. On a hot blustery day, I finish the second half of the show at the Top Zen place hoping for shade and a little less wind.

It’s a blustery day on the mountain, and despite the wind, today’s show is all about the BCs! After I let go of the idea of trying and embrace the idea of being, I welcome a record number of new brave companions – Chelsea, Dave and his wife, Jo, Nola from Alberta, Rachel from Sydney, Justine and Devon. We catch up with a few BCs we haven’t heard from for awhile, including Happy who has questions for us about binge durations and what we think of Brain Over Binge by Kathryn Hansen. We also hear from Lisa, Maria from a Spanish Speaking country and my in person BC pal, Sandy. We celebrate the bravery of BC Carol from Detroit for posting her story on Who are the Brave Companions. I start the show at my usual Next to Top Zen place – but the wind and the sun get to be too much for me and so I move.
